18 Months Old

Aidan started the playgroup in BoBo Nursery because MaMa wanted him to get used to the school environment. He might start the morning nursery class there in September. If Aidan has known the teachers and school environment there, it may help him to get used to the half-day school in Sep. We went to BoBo nursery in the morning and Gymboree in the afternoon. The Saturday is a busy day for our family.

MaMa changed the bathing procedure a bit when Aidan reached 18 months old. He was not placed on the changing mat after bathing. Also, he started to use the pull-up style diaper because he was not willing to lying on the changing mat any more.

MaMa used the breast bump since she returned to work after maternity leave. She stopped to use it in the mid-Jun when she found the output was only 1 to 2 oz in the evening pump. All frozen milk in the freezer had been drunk. It means the life of pumping was finished when Aidan reach 18 months old but the role of nursing mother has not been gone. It will continuous until Aidan doesn’t want it anymore.

Apart from the breast pump, the play-pen has bee gone. We have bought a shelf for placing Aidan’s toys and books. The upper levels are for placing the remote controls, mobile phones, clock, etc, for those we don’t want Aidan to reach. The lower levels are for his stuff.
